Evolutionary Tuning Method for Automatic Impedance Matching in Communication Systems - Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 1998 IEEE International Conference on
نویسنده
چکیده
An evolutionary tuning method for automatic impedance matclung in radio communication systems is developed based on Genetic Algorithms (GA). A detailed tuning procedure is presented and a software package has been developed. Simulation results using the software package are given. The implementation of the proposed tuning algorithm in a microprocessor-controlled automatic antenna tuning unit is also considered.

Message from international steering committee chair
It is my great pleasure to welcome all the participants to the International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies 2010 (ISCIT 2010), held in Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan. This conference is the tenth annual conference and the second time symposium held in Japan. Many of them may remember the ISCIT 2004 was held in Sapporo, Japan. The ISCIT 2010 is sponsored by Meiji Univer...
متن کاملDynamic Harmonic Analysis of Long Term over Voltages Based on Time Varying Fourier series in Extended Harmonic Domain
Harmonics have become an important issue in modern power systems. The widespread penetration of non-linear loads to emerging power systems has turned power quality analysis into an important operation issue under both steady state and transient conditions. This paper employs an Extended Harmonic Domain (EHD) based framework for dynamic analysis of long term analysis over voltages during the tra...
متن کاملAdaptive Simplified Model Predictive Control with Tuning Considerations
Model predictive controller is widely used in industrial plants. Uncertainty is one of the critical issues in real systems. In this paper, the direct adaptive Simplified Model Predictive Control (SMPC) is proposed for unknown or time varying plants with uncertainties. By estimating the plant step response in each sample, the controller is designed and the controller coefficients are directly ca...
متن کاملNumerically stable Green function for modeling and analysis of substrate coupling in integrated circuits
The Green function over a multilayer substrate is derived by solving Poisson’s equation analytically in the z coordinate and numerically in the x and y coordinates. The x and y functional dependence is transformed into a discrete cosine transform (DCT) representation for rapid evaluation. The Green function is further transformed into a numerically stable form appropriate for finite-precision m...
متن کاملDiagnosing realistic bridging faults with single stuck-at information
Successful failure analysis requires accurate fault diagnosis. This paper presents a method for diagnosing bridging faults that improves on previous methods. The new method uses single stuck-at fault signatures, produces accurate and precise diagnoses, and takes into account imperfect fault modeling; it accomplishes this by introducing the concepts of match restriction, match requirement, and m...
